For the past 4 years I ran and operated the ONLY nonprofit Pet Rescue /Pet Welfare streaming Radio in the country which was created following the loss of my beloved Border Terrier, Trixie who had been with me for nearly 15 years.

I had rescued Trixie when she was 9 months and she lived to the age of 15 years, 4 months and 3 days. Sadly, she was put down on Christmas Eve, 2018. Not a good time to have to say your final Goodbye to your best friend. But I was fortunate she was even able to hold on to her life for as long as she did. Friends say, she had done it for me as I was going through some difficult health issues. Trixie and I were both diagnosed with Cancer 2 days apart.  My news came on a Monday and her news came two short days later on a Wednesday. It was truly a gut punch for both of us!

Trixie could have easily gone at anytime during my long recovery which lasted over a year, but she hung in there.  Sure, she had her bad days but together we managed to push one another through. She did a better job than I did.  In the end we were both there for each other.  I was able to heal and it seemed as soon as she recognized I was going to be okey, she took a turn for the worse.  It was as if her job was done and she was prepared  to move on to her next journey, knowing I still had more to do in mine.

This is when I found my way and launched the Pet Rescue Radio station as a dedication to Trixie.  The station would offer pet tips and welfare capsules in addition to partnering with dozens of shelters throughout the country to promote their rescues.  Sadly, as we are living through difficult financial times, fund raising for this nonprofit became more and more challenging and I had to end and shut down the operations in early 2024.

Since Trixie's passing, I rescued two Terriers who are siblings, Dax & Dixie some two months after she left us.  More recently, as I paid monthly visits to all of the local shelters in Saint Lucie and Martin County to feature their rescues, I did fall in love with a Rat Terrier at Dogs and Cats forever animal sanctuary in Fort Pierce and rescued him, his name is Benji.

I have a lot of passion and love for these wonderful companion animals and decided to get into the Dog Walking business as I have had so much experience with dogs of my own to having produced over 500 videos of dog rescues in the last 4 years here on the treasure coast.  I will treat your best friend like one of my own :)
